…. Says south west deserves to be the next Chairman
The former governorship aspirant in Ogun state under the umbrella of the People’s Democratic Party, Otunba Segun Sowunmi has vowed to himself to defeat the former Senate President and Presidential Aspirant Dr. Bukola Saraki to the battle of the National Chairman of the party.
Otunba Sowunmi stated this while featuring on a national television of channels programme named “Politics Today” .
Saraki who is the former governor of kwara state is said to have been pencil down had the candidate for the highest post of the party.
Sowunmi noted that he ask the former Senate president how he destabilized the party in 2014/2015 that eventually led to the defeat of the party the general election in 2015.
He Sowunmi also stated that saraki emergence has the chairman of the party will led the party to another unfair and unholy treatment to the southwest region because the region is yet to produce the chairman of the party .
We can not sit down and be looking everytime that some leaders in the region have put a lot more resources for the party to remain United and we in the south west deserved to be the next Chairman of the party.
